Valley

Metal roof valley is an important roofing component designed to control water drainage and protect the joints between two pitched roof sections that meet at an inward angle to form a V-shaped channel or valley. The main function of a metal roof valley is to effectively collect and drain rainwater and other precipitation from the point where two roof slopes intersect. This minimizes the risk of water intrusion, leaks and damage to the roof structure. Valleys are designed to create a defined path for water to flow to the edge of the roof, where it can be further controlled using an eaves gutter and downspout system.
